Kamperbridgeclock
In the design of this clock Jacob ten Hoeve was inspired by the shape and the technique of the New Lifting Bridge over the river IJssel in Kampen.
The lines in aluminum and glass accentuate the graphical character of this clock. The almost architectonic verticality is only challenged by the circular shapes of the movement and the lifting wheel.
The transparency of the polished glass housing allows for a detailed look into the inner workings. One can clearly observe the function of the lifting wheel and the movement of the weight as it traverses the clock.
The striking red of the hands stands out in contrast to the rather subdued overall colour. Their tips are shaped in the form of sun and moon, but can also be custom-designed.
Each handcrafted Kamperbridgeclock is unique: it is signed, dated and numbered and is customizable in regard to colour and inscription.
