Design clock by Jacob ten Hoeve for winners of the Joure Fair horse races.
Every year on the monday in september of the Joure Fair (Jouster Merke) these traditional matches are held, a sociable and bustling sporting event for amateurs of horse racing and the young and old population of Joure and its surroundings.
Every year, a clockmaker of Joure is assigned to make the trophies for this event. The president of the horse-racing association announced that "This year Jacob ten Hoeve will be making the trophies. We wanted something different for a change, something more contemporary".
It goes without saying that Jacob ten Hoeve is the right address.
